O Spirit Awards 2017 é uma das principais premiações do cinema independente e anunciou seus vencedores no último sábado, 25 de fevereiro. Moonlight ganhou na principal categoria da noite e foi o maior vencedor da pri=emiação. O brasileiro Aquarius, por sua vez, perdeu para o alemão Toni Erdmann.
